Project examples: Automotive components

Gas supply and test bench for flammable gases

Components through which gas flows are examined as part of long-term tests using hydrogen or other gases. During these tests, the test gases are circulated using a compressor.

Hydrogen, natural gas or nitrogen

-40°C to 120°C medium

up to 20bar

1m³/h to 170m³/h

Minimal gas consumption through the use of a compressor

Endurance test bench with running times of up to 1,000h/attempt

Pressure is adjusted before and after the unit under test

Test bench for electric clutch plates

The test bench is used to test the electric actuator for electronically controlled clutches (e-clutches). The item can be tested at different temperatures through the introduction of temperature-controlled air.

Parallel testing of 12 couplings

(e-clutch)

Dynamic load simulation up to 5kN

Acceleration up to 12m/s²

Special rolling diaphragm seal for sealing the drive unit off from the temperature chamber

Test bench for testing the lifetime of electric cooling pumps

In this system, endurance tests for of up to ten electric cooling pumps can be carried out at the same time.
